Remarks
The PageNamesML property is multilanguage enabled. This means that it can contain a list of text in different languages. The text that is displayed is selected according to the current language setting of the user. For more information, see Working with Multilanguage Functionality.
The PageNamesML property has the following format.
Copy Code | |
---|---|
<Language ID>=<pagenames> |
<Language ID> is a Windows standard three-letter language ID and <pagenames> is a list of page names as in the PageNames Property.
The following is an example PageNamesML value:
Copy Code | |
---|---|
DAN=Generelt,Kommunikation,Fakturering;ENG=General,Communication,Invoicing |
Values are set up for Danish (DAN) and UK English (ENG).
How to Enter PageNamesML Values
You can enter values for the PageNamesML property in two ways:
-
If you enter a PageNames Property value, this value is inserted in PageNamesML as the value for the language that is currently selected. If the language is set to Danish when a value is entered in PageNames, PageNamesML is updated with a DAN=<value> string. You have to use the abbreviated name (DAN for Danish, for example) of the languages.
-
When you click the AssistEdit button in the PageNamesML Value field, the Multilanguage Editor opens. This is a form with two columns: Language and Value. The Language column is populated with all languages defined by Windows. The PageNamesML value for a language is added by entering a value in the Value field for that language. You have to close this form by clicking OK. If it is closed by pressing the ESC key, the PageNamesML field is not updated.
