A tab control is useful when you are designing a form that is based on a table with several fields. Instead of creating a large form cluttered with controls, you can group controls together on pages that the user can bring forward by clicking the tabs. You can use a form wizard to create a form with a tab control.
To create a tab control
-
Open the form in Form Designer.
-
Select the Tab Control tool and drag and drop in the design area to create a tab control.
-
Open the Properties window for the tab control, and create the pages that you need by entering a name for each page as a comma-separated list in the PageNames property. The names are used as captions on the tabs.
