A control becomes active when you click on it or select it by any other means such as by using the keyboard. This function provides another way to make active a control that is already displayed on the screen.

When you call this function on a control, the control becomes the active control on the form. If the control is already active, the control is given focus. If the control is not active, it is given focus the next time the form is activated. You must load the form before you can activate its controls.
