with product features. Do not use a Demo Install as the basis for
an actual deployed production environment.

The Demo version of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 includes:

Constraints
Consider the following factors before you install and use the
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Demo:

The Demo has not been tested to run side-by-side with previous
versions of Microsoft Dynamics NAV. We recommend that you do not
install the Demo on a computer that already has a previous version
of Microsoft Dynamics NAV installed.

If you intend to use the Microsoft Outlook Add-In, install
Outlook before installing the Demo.

You can install the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 Demo on Windows
Vista with User Account Control turned on or off. If User Access
Control is turned on, right-click and choose Run as
administrator to run the RoleTailored client.
Running Setup
To install the Demo

Insert the Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009 DVD.
The Startup screen presents a set of options in sections
entitled Prepare, Install, and Join the
Community.

Under Install, click Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

Click Next to move past the Welcome screen.

Click I accept to indicate acceptance of the license
terms.

Click Install Demo.

When the installation is complete, click Close.
Next Steps
After installing the Demo, start the RoleTailored client from
the Start menu. In Windows Vista, to run the RoleTailored client
while User Account Control is turned on, click Start, and
then click All Programs. Right-click the client, and, on the
shortcut menu, click Run as administrator.
Note |
The demo database is not uninstalled when you uninstall
Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2009. You need to remove it manually. See
the "Removing the Demo Database" section in the topic Modifying, Uninstalling,
or Repairing.
